Founded in 2011, Circle Economy is a global impact organisation of 60+ experts based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Everything we do is guided by the vision of an economic system that ensures the planet and all people can thrive.

Our flagship report, the Circularity Gap Report, has measured the state of global circularity since 2018. Our practical and scalable approach is focused on empowering decision-makers from the public and private sectors to develop and implement circular economy strategies and business models.

We do this by combining research, data and digital tools for the greater good. In 2023, we launched Circle Economy Consulting, a dedicated consulting firm for forward-thinking leaders and businesses.

We empower industries, cities and nations with practical and scalable solutions to put the circular economy into action. To avoid climate breakdown, our goal is to double global circularity by 2032.
